VEIN TREATMENTS

WHY ZULU FOR VEINS?
ZULU MEDISPA has chosen a combination of Sclerotherapy and the Palomar YAG 1064 Laser to confidently and effectively improve the appearance of varicose and spider veins.

Many people live with visible leg veins, which make them feel embarrassed to wear shorts, skirts and swimsuits. In the past, this problem could only be solved through painful procedures and major surgery, but those days are mercifully over.

ZULU USES TWO CERTIFIED METHODS TO IMPROVE THE APPEARANCE OF UNSIGHTLY VEINS:
1. SCLEROTHERAPY


	This certified method treats bigger veins under the surface of the skin which sometimes appear as dilated, torturous or varicose veins. It consists of a series of painless injections into the veins with a clear solution to collapse the vessel walls and prevent the vein from returning on the same spot.

2. 1064 YAG LASER


	The 1064 YAG Laser targets spider veins on legs, face and other body areas specifically. The Laser pulses heat the blood within the vein which causes the vessel to constrict and eventually fade from view.

ZULU’S VEIN CONSULT
You will have a consultation with one of ZULU’S fully trained physicians to determine which treatments best suit your needs. You will also undergo an Ultrasound exam to assess the competency of your veins at the same time.

The risks and benefits will be fully explained to you during the consultation. Most people will need 3 to 6 treatments, 1 month apart, for effective vein clearance.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT?

• Immediately after treatment you will notice veins disappear, darken or shrink. This is normal and reassuring.
• The surrounding skin may turn pink and be slightly swollen for up to 24 hours, very similar to a cat scratch.
• A minimum of 3 treatments is necessary to achieve the desired result; the response is very individual and varies for each client.
• It is of the utmost importance that you follow the post-treatment instructions given to you by ZULU MEDISPA.
