BOTOX INJECTIONS
ZULU offers a full range
of Botox Cosmetic® and
Botox® Therapeutic treatments
tailored to your individual needs.
When you look in the mirror does the person
looking back at you reflect how you feel on the inside – vibrant
and youthful? With Botox Cosmetic®,
you can slow down the effects of the aging process so you can look
as good as you feel. It doesn’t mean wanting to look 18, you
just want to look fabulous for your age. It also doesn’t mean
getting rid of all the lines on your face, just the ones that can
make you look angry, stressed and tired. With this safe, non-surgical
and effective treatment, you can easily get that well-rested and
energized glow.
HOW DOES BOTOX COSMETIC® WORK?
Botox Cosmetic®
is an injectable treatment derived from a purified protein and works
by relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkles; giving your face a
more relaxed and refreshed appearance. Best of all, regular use
of this simple treatment will soften expression lines and help “stop
the clock”. Treatment is so quick and easy that you can often
have it done over lunch.
Botox®
has become the most popular physician-administered cosmetic treatment
in North America with an estimated 3 million treatments performed
annually.

ARE BOTOX®
INJECTIONS SAFE?
Absolutely. Botox
has been licensed in Canada since 1990 as a safe and effective treatment
for a variety of medical conditions. In 2001, Health Canada approved
Botox® Cosmetic
for wrinkle therapy and it has been proven to be very safe through
extensive research and testing.
Those who are pregnant, nursing or have a neurological disease should
not be treated.
WHAT IS THE TREATMENT LIKE?
A tiny amount of
Botox is injected very precisely into
the muscle being treated. A very fine needle is used and the sensation
has been compared to a bug bite. No anesthetic is required and you
can resume normal activities immediately.
